Charles Christoe '64 Co-authors Two Novels

Charles Christoe '64 has co-authored and published two novels in the past year:

The books are a two part story of two college students who learn about modern alchemy and high pressure physics from a college professor. Both books are available from Amazon.com as e-Books for $1.99 each.

Chuck  earned a degree in Engineering Physics and a Ph.D. in experimental solid state physics from the University of Illinois in 1969.

After graduation, he worked for the Dept of the Army’s  Feltman Research Laboratory at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey. He later went on to work as a systems engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories. In 2001, he left that postion and obtained a certification to teach Math and Science in the State of New Jersey.

He first taught in secondary education at Piscataway Township High School. Then he taught Principles of Engineering and AP Physics C at High Technology High School in Lincroft, NJ. 

Chuck was recognized for his teaching with two awards:

  • Teacher of the Year at High Technology High School in 2005
  • MIT Inspirational Teachers of 2014 for his teaching at High Technology High School.

Chuck is married to his wife Diane and they have three children. After retiring from teaching, Charles is concentrating on writing.
